The Josephite Priests and Brothers are proud of the accomplishments of Dr. Livingston Alexander, who grew up in St. Francis of Assisi parish, Breaux Bridge, Louisiana, a parish staffed by the Josephites. He has served as the President of the University of Pittsburgh at Bradford (Pennsylvania) since 2003 and on May 7, 2012, was given the responsibility of also serving as the President of the University of Pittsburgh at Titusville. What a vote of confidence and honor this is for him and his accomplishments!
In addition to his boyhood parish, Dr. Alexander has another Josephite connection - he attended the Josephite Seminary in Washington, D.C., where he earned his degree in Philosophy.
May God continue to bless him as he begins this new endeavor!
